Friday evening will begin with informal cocktails at Sea Grape at 6pm. Candle lighting and Shabbat dinner will begin promptly at 7:00pm.

Attire
We will be gathering for a family sit-down dinner. Think easy and comfortable, just a little dressy, and more on the “modest” side. It is Shabbat, so please keep that in mind when it comes to clothing and being respectful. It will be humid – breathable fabrics will be your friend. Long and flowy dresses or skirts, and flats or a wedge – everything is outside. Jackets are not required, but no shorts please for the weekend evening festivities. Think tropical weather and dress accordingly.

For children under 10, please dress them appropriately – it will be hot, and they should be comfortable. Children over 10 can follow the same thinking as the adults. Please no flip flops for anyone. It is Shabbat and we would like to respect the tradition of this evening.
